Zero Mothers Die project: building bases for the pregnant E-patient at the National Institute of Women, Children and Adolescents Health Fernandes Figueira
Zerando a Mortalidade Materna: construção de bases para a E-paciente gestante no Instituto Nacional de Saúde da Mulher, da Criança e do Adolescente Fernandes Figueira
The 2030 Sustainable Development Goal on health reinforces the fight against maternal mortality, which is a problem in developing countries, including Brazil. This research by the National Institute of Women's, Children's and Adolescents' Health Fernandes Figueira intends to translate and adapt the Zero Mothers Die mobile application to the Portuguese language with the participation of institutional actors. As well, we will listen to mothers and pregnant users of the service about the usefulness and the potentiality of this tool in its daily life. As methodology, we will use the technique of ethnographic research called participant observation in the phase of translation of the platform by health professionals. Afterwards, we will conduct semi-structured interviews in groups with users of the health service. Our expected results are the dissemination of the methodology used for peers in scientific publication and the provision of the application for pregnant women and mothers in general.
O Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável para 2030 sobre saúde reforça o combate à mortalidade materna, que é um problema nos países em desenvolvimento, inclusive no Brasil. Essa investigação do Instituto Nacional de Saúde da Mulher, da Criança e do Adolescente Fernandes Figueira pretende traduzir e adaptar o aplicativo para dispositivos móveis Zero Mothers Die para a língua portuguesa com a participação de atores institucionais, bem como ouvir as mães e gestantes usuárias do serviço presencialmente, quanto à utilidade e a potencialidade dessa ferramenta em seu cotidiano. Como metodologia será utilizada a técnica de pesquisa etnográfica denominada observação participante na fase de tradução da plataforma pelos profissionais de saúde, bem como, posteriormente, serão realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas em grupos com usuárias do serviço de saúde. Como resultados previstos, estão a divulgação da metodologia utilizada para os pares em publicação científica e a disponibilização do aplicativo para gestantes e mães em geral.
