Mentoring for Women and eHealth
In the pursuance of the Women and eHealth Study 2010 – 2012 conducted by the Millennia2015 WeHealth IWG, the Mapping of Women's involvement in eHealth has been completed with a new dimension: Women as Mentors in eHealth, to educate young girls in health technologies. Mentoring is a recognized powerful instrument to motivate girls to study engineering, telecommunication or informatics for health. Women reaching high-level positions provide an incentive for young girls by giving the positive image of exciting jobs.

Mentoring – How to Begin ?
The concept of mentoring is familiar to most of us. We can benefit from having a mentor and, as we gain knowledge and experience, we can provide mentorship to others. But how do we find a mentor?
Usually, a mentor is a bit more experienced than you are and has found success in her/his work or other responsibilities. A coach, by comparison, is usually someone who can help you through a specific challenge. A person who has a mentor would be called a mentee or a protégé.
To find a mentor, or someone who will guide you on your way, whether at home, school or place of employment, here are some simple steps.
