Childhood and Early Parenting Principles, CEPPs
The CEPPs propose a common policy framework for initiatives involving
maternal and child health and early childhood development. They support the implementation of the UN SDGs and aim to ensure a continuum-of-care during the early years so that children in every country are able to realise their full potential over the course of their lives. The CEPPs Mother and Child Manifesto proposes 7 principles, providing a policy framework for unified multi-sector partnerships between government, private sector and civil society organizations at city, regional and national levels. They aim to help mothers, families and caregivers provide the nurturing care every child needs to develop their full potential. CEPPs is a multi-partner Global Initiative created in 2016 by a working group of organisations involved in the field of maternal perinatal health and early childhood development. https://cepprinciples.org/ |
